Survivable Systems Development and Design
MPR develops and designs robust systems to provide critical functions after damage such as fire, earthquake, explosion, and weapon damage. The design objective is to ensure an acceptable level of performance for safety-critical and mission-critical systems after damage. MPR performs analyses to provide a rational basis for performance requirements, defines performance requirements, develops the survivable architecture for integrated systems, prepares design guidelines so that systems designers can incorporate survivability features into their designs, conducts survivability performance analyses of the integrated systems (including operator actions), conducts damage effects testing, and provides associated project management support.
